WORSHIP & WORKS MINISTRY
Communion is served at St. Luke Church on the first Sunday of the month and at other special occasions during the year. If you would like to help prepare the communion trays, contact Pat Huff.

Communion is also served to shut-ins by elders on Sunday after church. Call the church office if you would like to be served communion in your home.

GREETERS

Each Sunday greeters are posted at the doors to the Narthex to welcome people as they come for worship. If you would like to serve as a greeter, contact Sherrell Manning or Joe D'Olive.

MUSIC

One of the joys of attending St. Luke Church is our excellent music program. Our Minister of Music is Ron Matthews. There are various choirs as described in the following.

NURSERY

Nursery care is provided on Sunday morning during both worship services and Growth Group Classes ("Sunday School").  The age range is newborn to age four during the worship services and newborn to one year of age during Growth Group Classes. The nursery is in Room C-105.

SPECIAL WORSHIP EVENTS

Special worship services are held during Christmas, Easter, etc.

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES

Two worship services are held each Sunday morning at 8:30 am and at 10:45 am.  Both services are the classic style of worship with dynamic evangelical preaching. The 10:45 am worship service reflects the broader ministries of the church and includes a "Children's Time".  Communion is served at both services on the first Sunday of the month.

USHERING

Ushers are needed for both worship services on Sunday morning and for special events during the year. If you would like to usher for either the 8:30 am or the 10:45 am worship service, contact Sherrell Manning or Joe D'Olive.  Usher signup sheets are available in the Narthex for you to sign up to usher for a given month.

W.O.W. (Worship Our Way for Children)

This special worship service is for children ages four through the third grade. The children attend the adult worship service at 10:45 am and after Children's Time has been completed, they go with their worship leaders to the Multi-Purpose Building, Room B-100, for a worship experience designed especially for children.
